Application

Even for small waste water treatment plants efficient screening equipment is indispensable to guarantee the function of the downstream process stages. In addition, the new EU water framework directive makes high demands on water quality of small and low performing  receiving waters. In future, efficient mechanical, physical and biological process stages will become absolutely essential.

Function

Within the Kompakta MINI the rotating sieve basket is fed with waste water either by pumps or gravity flow. The retained solids are transported, dewatered and compacted by the internal conveyor spiral. The discharge pipe is adapted to site conditions and avoids unpleasant odour in conjunction with a bagging device.
